Tokyo Gallery + BTAP Exhibition

Tokyo Gallery's sister gallery BTAP will host 'Projection of Site/Sight' from March 12th onwards featuring 'Urbanscapes (Re)imagined' an exhibition of 19 works by Chauntelle Trinh and Eckard Buscher. Also on show are works by Japanese Artist Shinichi Kaneko.

Tokyo Gallery was founded in 1950 as Tokyo's first contemporary art gallery. In 2002, the gallery opened a new space BTAP in Beijing's 798 Art District. Currently operating as Tokyo Gallery+BTAP, the gallery continues its mission to promote both established and emerging artists. … >>

Masato Hatanaka

A collaboration with Masato Hatanaka and Hiroe Iragashi is underway. The theme of the work will draw inspiration from the unique cityscape of Tokyo.

Masato Hatanaka is a gifted Japanese composer based in Tokyo. He is the creator of haute couture sound. His past works have accompanied Tokyo Wonder's 'Lights and Shadows' film installation by WOW at the Milano Salone in 2008 and Issey Miyake's 'XXIst Century Man' Exhibition at 21_21 Designsight in 2008.

The Museum of Sydney have invited Chauntelle Trinh and Eckard Buscher for a solo 'Metropolitan Cityscapes' exhibition in May 2010.*
